The Distance Education Network Center is a Student Services Program for Distance Education Students of Hosanna Bible College. All actions in the DEN Center physical location are considered as supplementary in nature and are conducted to help students achieve mastery of course work and to provide overall support to distance education students of Hosanna Bible College. All instruction is conducted in the Student Learning System environment provided by Hosanna Bible College.
Reverend James Douglas Clay, was born March 3rd, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois, the 6th child of the proud union of the late Fred and Nellean Clay. He attended the Chicago Public Schools until moving to Detroit, Michigan in 1981, and graduating from Samuel C. Mumford High School in June 1982. During his years in Detroit, he first confessed Christ at the Hartford Memorial Baptist Church, under the pastorate of Dr. Charles G. Adams. After returning from military service, he joined the New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago under the pastorate of Dr. Stephen John Thurston, and acknowledged his call to the ministry in February 2005. In August 2005 he relocated to Nashville, Tennessee and united with the St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Dr. George T. Brooks, Sr., and was ordained in November 2009.
A graduate of the American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible Theology, he was awarded the Master of Christian Education degree at Hosanna Bible College in May 2018 and a Master of Divinity in 2019. A member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, he has been married 23 years to the former Teana LaShae Thomas. They're the proud parents of two children, Jamese LaShae and James Douglas Clay, II.
On Sunday, June 30, 2013, Reverend Clay was elected Pastor of the New Visions Baptist Church of Nashville, TN.
